This buying guide explains the appeal of the Eyes of the Forest 2nd Edition in Semiclear Ice Blue, helping you decide if this limited resin sculpture fits your collection.
Quick answer
If you appreciate translucent resin art and limited-edition collectibles, the Eyes of the Forest 2nd Edition in Semiclear Ice Blue is a worthy addition at USD 40.80.
Why Semiclear Ice Blue stands out
The Semiclear Ice Blue resin gives this sculpture a cool, frosted appearance that shifts with light. Unlike opaque figures, the translucency adds depth and makes the piece feel alive on a shelf or desk.
This is the 2nd edition of a classic design by artist James Mazza, so you're getting a refined version of an established piece.
What to consider before buying
At 4.5 x 3 inches, it's a compact sculpture that won't dominate a display but may feel smaller than expected if you're used to larger resin toys. The Semiclear Ice Blue color is specific—it won't match every collection's palette.
The catalog price of USD 40.80 (compared to USD 60.00) makes it an accessible entry point for limited resin, but the edition is limited, so availability may be short.
Decision rules for the Eyes of the Forest Ice Blue
- Check your lighting setup: Translucent resin looks best with backlighting or strong ambient light. If your display area is dim, the ice blue effect may be muted.
- Consider the size: At roughly 4.5 x 3 inches, this is a desktop or shelf accent, not a centerpiece. Measure your space to avoid surprises.
- Act fast on limited editions: Because this is a limited 2nd edition, the current price of USD 40.80 may not last. If the color and design appeal to you, don't wait. If you see it in stock and it fits your collection, buy now rather than risk missing out.
