A calm, collector-focused FAQ on the ZAZEN 2 Various Animals Surprise Box: what's in the series, how the random ratio works, and how to display your figure.
Quick answer
The ZAZEN 2 Various Animals Surprise Box is a five-figure blind box series featuring meditative animals in a calm seated pose. You get one randomly packed figure per box, and the manufacturer's ratio determines which of the five you receive.
Why the meditative pose makes this series a desk-friendly choice
Unlike action-oriented blind boxes, the ZAZEN 2 lineup is designed for quiet display. Each animal sits in a still, contemplative pose, which means the figures read clearly from a desk or shelf without needing dramatic lighting or a lot of space. That makes them easy to rotate into a workspace where you want a small visual pause rather than a busy focal point.
The trade-off: single-box randomness versus full-set certainty
The main limitation is the same one that defines most blind boxes: you cannot choose your animal from a single box. The manufacturer packs them randomly according to a ratio, so buying one box is a genuine surprise. If you have a specific animal in mind, a single box is a gamble; if you enjoy the reveal, it is the point. The catalog does not list individual ratios per animal, so treat any specific-figure expectation as uncertain.
ZAZEN 2 blind box FAQ
- How many figures are in the ZAZEN 2 series?
- There are five kinds in total, packed randomly according to the manufacturer's ratio. The lineup includes a Mandrill, Long-tailed Tit (Shimaenaga), Octopus, and Toy Poodle, with the fifth animal not named in the catalog excerpt.
- Can I pick a specific animal?
- No. Each box is randomly packed by the manufacturer, so you cannot select a specific figure when buying a single box. The ratio determines the odds, not your choice. If you want a guaranteed animal, plan to trade or buy from a reseller who opens boxes.
- How should I display the figure?
- Place it on a flat, stable surface at eye level or slightly below, away from direct sun and heat. The seated pose is stable, but a small adhesive dot under the base prevents sliding on glossy desks.
- Is this a good first blind box?
- Yes, if you like calm animal figures and do not mind randomness. The low catalog price makes it an easy entry point, and the meditative theme keeps the display versatile.
