2OZWORKS designer Lee Young Jun likes coffee, so he designed an image called Mr Yeti. Mr Yeti is the barista of Yeti Cafe, he is the coffee monster hidden in the human city, the cafe is its resting place, where coffee will be made for other monsters. After a pleasant afternoon, put down your work and go to Yeteicafe to choose your favorite desserts and drinks.
I was a bit nervous about the blind box gamble, but the Mr Yeti design is just so charming, the little apron and coffee cup are full of personality. The paint job is really clean with no sloppy edges, and it's a great size to display on my desk without taking over.
The little barista’s apron and coffee cup detailing are so precise for such a tiny figure, and the matte finish keeps it from looking cheap. I’ve got him on my desk next to my actual espresso machine and he fits right in as the coffee monster on a break.
Mr Yeti is honestly way cuter in person than the photos suggested, and the little cafe details on the box and card really sell the coffee monster concept. The figure itself has a nice weight to it and stands perfectly, which I didn't expect from a blind box.
