Learn if the Count Calorie vinyl figure is right for your collection. Review its design, size, and value, plus decision rules for buying or passing.
Quick Answer
The Count Calorie vinyl figure is a fun, articulated 8-inch collectible that fits well in cereal-themed or quirky designer toy collections, but it's not for everyone—check the decision rules below.
Why Count Calorie Stands Out
Count Calorie is the latest entry in the cereal killer series, adding a playful twist to the classic monster theme. His 8-inch height makes him a noticeable piece on any shelf, and the articulated arms let you pose him in different ways, which is a nice bonus for display or play.
If you already own other figures from the cereal killer series, Count Calorie is designed to complete the Last Fat Breakfast lineup, so he's a natural addition to that themed collection.
Consider the Price and Value
At a catalog price of $45.50, Count Calorie sits in the mid-range for designer vinyl toys. The $65.00 comparison price suggests a good discount if you're comparing to the original retail, but remember that value depends on how much you like the design and theme.
If you're a completionist, the price is reasonable to finish the series. If you're just browsing, make sure the cereal-killer humor and style resonate with you before committing.
Decision Rules for Buying Count Calorie
- Series Collector: If you are collecting the cereal killer series, Count Calorie is a must-have to complete the Last Fat Breakfast set. Buy it to keep the collection whole. Check which other figures are in the series to confirm you're not missing any.
- Design Lover: If you enjoy quirky, humorous designer toys with a food theme, Count Calorie's design will likely appeal. Buy it for the fun factor.
- Budget-Conscious Collector: If $45.50 stretches your budget, consider whether you truly love the theme. If you're on the fence, wait for a sale or consider a different figure. Compare prices across retailers to ensure you're getting the best deal.
- Articulation Seeker: If you value poseability in your figures, the articulated arms are a plus. Buy it if you like to change up your displays.
